Western Earthworks LLC is a growing, locally owned excavation and site preparation company based in Spirit Lake, Idaho. Founded by Jason Payne, we specialize in high-quality land clearing, full site prep, grading, driveways, retaining walls, drainage systems, pond construction, and more across North Idaho and Eastern Washington.

We’re Hiring: Equipment Operator / ForemanPay: DOE (Depends on Experience)
Location: Spirit Lake, ID and surrounding North Idaho / Eastern Washington projects
Schedule: Full-time, steady work with variety across residential and commercial jobs
What You'll Do

Operate heavy equipment (excavators, dozers, loaders, etc.) for land clearing, grading, site prep, trenching, and earthmoving

Lead and oversee crew on job sites as Foreman

Maintain high safety standards and quality workmanship on every project

Help build everything from new home foundations and driveways to retaining walls and ponds
What You'll Do

Proven experience operating heavy equipment in excavation / earthwork

Foreman or crew-lead experience is a strong plus

Must pass a DOT drug test

Reliable, safety-minded, and detail-oriented
-
Class A Driver’s License with valid medical card is a plus (not required)
